Making it easy to begin therapy.

Deciding to seek therapy is a big and important first step. Choosing a therapist can also feel challenging. The relationship between client and therapist is the most important part of the process. If my practice seems like a potential fit, we can arrange a free zoom consult to discuss your interest in therapy and explore how I can help. This will also give you an opportunity to ask me specific questions to help you decide. It may take a few sessions before we determine whether we are a good fit to continue working together.   • The overall goal of therapy is to support you in creating positive changes that improve your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, as well as your relationships and overall quality of life. That means different things to different people, and the goals of your therapy will depend on you! We will discuss your goals during your consultation and first session.

  • COVID changed the way many businesses operate, and I was fortunate to find that teletherapy worked well for my clients. As a result, and in accordance with my license, I currently offer teletherapy sessions to residents of California, Colorado and Oregon. I use a HIPAA-Compliant software platform called Simple Practice that makes it easy to log-in to our sessions from your phone, tablet, iPad, or computer.

  • I am not currently in-network with any insurance carriers. But, your insurance policy, may cover a portion of your session costs, after your deductible is met. I provide a Super Bill at the end of each month that you can submit with your claim form to your insurance company for reimbursement. I recommend you review your policy or speak to an insurance company representative who can clarify coverage for out-of-network mental health providers.

    • Rate per 50-minute individual psychotherapy session is $275. 

    • Rate for a 60-minute couples or family therapy session is $325.

      NOTE: Please speak to me if you require a sliding scale due to financial circumstances.

  • I accept credit card and Venmo at the time of service. We will go over my cancellation policy during our first session.
