Hello… I’m Linda Reeves.
About Me
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. I bring both professional experience and life-won wisdom as a parent, wife, stepmother, single mom, career woman, and caregiver. I specialize in working with those who are moving through difficult life transitions, struggling with depression or anxiety, recovering from trauma, poor attachment, identity issues, infidelity, grief and loss.
I began my academic path with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Journalism from San Diego State University and went on to a successful career in fashion licensing and business technology. Following a traumatic divorce, I was intent on pursuing a “third act” in which I could “live in purpose” and use my natural gifts of insight, inspiration, and empathy more directly. That led me back to school: I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy. I am an integrative psychotherapist and use a range of therapy approaches - psychodynamic, attachment-based, cognitive behavioral therapy, feminist therapy, family systems, strength-based, and narrative therapy - which are adapted to suit your own individual needs.
I am licensed to treat clients residing in California, Colorado, and Oregon. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, and my therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, cultural competency, and a commitment to social justice. I partner with people to understand the origins of issues, resolve patterns that cause pain, and cultivate resilience and connection. Whether you’re facing transitions, grief, conflict, or simply seeking greater meaning and balance, I support you in discovering clearer pathways forward.
